Fixing White Outlines for Materials that use TransparencyFrom $1Table of contentsNo headersOften this applies to foliage/plants that are composed of a set of
2-sided simple meshes, and make use of the alpha transparencies for
their materials (to create illusion of leaves/stems/twigs). Solution:"Adjust the Transparency Threshold upwards for materials that have this issue." If you see "white outlines" on your foliage, you can fix them using the Material Editor, very easily, as shown here. Step #1: Select the Model, and then "Edit Material" for the part that has these White Outlines (shown below): Step #2: In Material Editor, adjust the "Transparency->Threshold" value upwards (shown below): Step #3: Adjusting Threshold to 0.9 eliminates the White Outlines, and looks quite good (shown below):
Step #4: Go back to Model Editor, and click on the "Save" (disk) button at the Top, to save your model with this change.
